I work with a wide range of small businesses — from solopreneurs and freelancers just starting out, to established teams of up to 50 people looking to grow their online presence. If you're a small business owner who wants a stronger digital presence, you're in the right place.
Absolutely. I work with clients worldwide on a fully remote basis. Time zones have never been a barrier — I've successfully delivered projects for clients across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia. All communication, file sharing, and project management happens online.
I've been helping small businesses grow online for over 5 years. In that time I've worked with 85+ businesses across a wide range of industries — from local trades and retail to coaches, consultants, and e-commerce brands. Every project has sharpened my understanding of what actually works.
Website Design4 Questions
Website projects start from £1,497 for a lean, conversion-focused site. Larger or more complex projects are priced accordingly. I believe in transparent, fixed pricing — you'll always know the total cost before any work begins. Visit the Pricing page for a full breakdown of packages.
A standard website is delivered in 14 days from the moment you provide all required assets (copy, logo, photos, brand colours). More complex projects with custom features or e-commerce functionality may take 3–6 weeks. I'll always give you a clear timeline in your proposal.
The platform is chosen based on your specific needs. I primarily build on Shopify (for e-commerce), WordPress (for content-heavy or highly custom sites), and Squarespace (for elegant, low-maintenance sites). During our discovery call, I'll recommend the platform that best fits your goals, budget, and technical comfort level.
Yes — every website I deliver includes full handover training so you can confidently manage your own content. I'll record a personalised walkthrough video covering everything from updating text and images to adding new pages. You won't be left dependent on a developer for everyday updates.
SEO & Marketing4 Questions
Meaningful SEO results typically take 3–6 months to become visible, though this varies by industry competition and your website's current authority. Some clients see improvements in local rankings within 4–6 weeks. SEO is a long-term investment — consistent effort compounds over time into sustainable, free organic traffic.
No — and any consultant who guarantees specific rankings is misleading you. Google's algorithm is complex and constantly changing. What I do guarantee is ethical, white-hat SEO work focused on building genuine authority and relevance. My clients consistently see steady ranking improvements because of this approach.
Regular SEO targets broad keyword rankings across the web. Local SEO specifically optimises your visibility for searches in your geographic area — for example, "plumber in Bristol" or "coffee shop near me". This includes optimising your Google Business Profile, building local citations, and earning reviews. It's especially powerful for businesses that serve a specific town, city, or region.
Not currently. My focus is on organic growth — websites, SEO, and content strategies that bring in traffic without ongoing ad spend. This tends to deliver better long-term ROI for small businesses. If paid advertising is a priority for you, I'm happy to refer you to a specialist ads agency I trust.
Pricing & Payment4 Questions
Yes. The standard payment structure is 50% upfront to secure your project start date, and the remaining 50% upon delivery before the site goes live. For larger projects, I can arrange a three-stage payment plan. This is discussed and agreed during the proposal stage.
None. Every project comes with a fixed price agreed in writing before work begins. The only additional costs you'll encounter are third-party expenses like domain registration, hosting, or premium plugin licences — these are always clearly itemised in your proposal so there are no surprises.
Yes. I offer monthly retainer packages covering ongoing SEO, content updates, website maintenance, and performance reporting. These are popular with clients who want consistent growth without the overhead of hiring in-house. Retainer pricing and scope is agreed after the initial project is complete.
I don't offer refunds on work already completed, but I am committed to your satisfaction. Every project includes structured revision rounds so you can request changes before anything goes live. I won't consider a project delivered until you're genuinely happy with the result.
Working Together4 Questions
I keep communication simple and consistent. Most clients communicate via Slack (a free messaging app) or email — whichever you prefer. You'll receive a progress update at least once a week, and I'm always available to answer questions between updates. You'll never feel like you're chasing your own project.
To hit the ground running, I'll need: your logo files (or we can discuss branding if you need one), your website copy (text for each page), your brand colours and fonts if you have them, and any photos or images you want to use. I'll send you a detailed onboarding checklist after the proposal is signed so nothing gets missed.
Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. I won't nickel-and-dime you for small changes. The key distinction is scope — if a revision request falls outside the original brief (for example, adding a whole new section that wasn't discussed), that would be quoted separately. Within the agreed scope, we iterate until you're satisfied.
Every project includes a 30-day support window after delivery, during which I'll fix any bugs or technical issues at no extra cost. After that, you can either manage things independently (with the training I've provided) or transition onto one of my ongoing retainer packages for continued growth and maintenance.
